Wayfarer Vineyard began as a simple conviction: that the best food and wine come from place, not process. In 2014, we bought a neglected parcel on King Ridge Road — overgrown vines, tired soil, and a view that made every difficult day worth it.
We rebuilt the vines by hand. We imported a stone mill. We learned to read the fog rolling in from the Russian River and adjust our baking to the humidity it brings. Ten years later, that ridge is home to an estate vineyard, a small bakery, and a pantry stocked with everything we believe in.
We don't mass-produce. We don't ship overnight. What we make here, on this road, is made the way it should be — slowly, carefully, and with the kind of attention that only comes from caring about where your food comes from.
